Call to launch the Global Union of Doctors and Lawyers for People with Disabilities

Medical issues and legal problems are two major and costly problems that people with disabilities face every day. Considering the incredible number of people with disabilities globally, which reaches 1,500,000,000, equivalent to 15% of the world’s population, we will understand the importance of caring for people with disabilities.

Shame and fear of judgment are two factors that prevent people with disabilities from expressing their medical and legal problems; Shame and fear of how society will react after hearing their story. Therefore, many people with disabilities resort to “self-censorship.”

We are determined to launch the “Global Union of Doctors and Lawyers for People with Disabilities” in different countries. We want all people with disabilities to have the possibility to access an advisor, doctor, or lawyer as soon as possible after expressing their medical or legal issues on our website, and thus improve their quality of life.

To achieve this, we ask every doctor and lawyer worldwide to send us their CV by e-mail if they want to join the Union. We hope to stand together like a brick to build the unbreakable structure of the Global Union of Doctors and Lawyers for People with Disabilities.

It should be noted that more than eight decades have passed since “the most extensive genocide of people with disabilities known as Aktion t4.” But the exclusion of people with disabilities is still happening in more modern ways. Global Union of Doctors and Lawyers for People with Disabilities, as a solid and impenetrable shield, wants to protect the medical and legal rights of people with disabilities.
