Call to launch the Global Union of Doctors and Lawyers for People with Disabilities
In August 1939, during the rule of the Nazi Party, a project called “AKTIONT4” was implemented. The purpose of this project, which was carried out by Adolf Hitler's order, was “Eugenics”. The Nazi Party and Hitler only considered people who had no, physical or mental disabilities worthy of living. In October of the same year, the Nazi government started to establish medical centers equipped with special personnel for this project. They injected lethal substances into the disabled and killed people with Down Syndrome by starvation. At the same time, the Nazi Party used six carbon-monoxide gas chambers to suffocate physically and mentally disabled people. They justified the killing of the disabled with propaganda. They said that “public care for the disabled is contrary to the public interests” and that the "disabled suffer from an incurable pain and should be eliminated out of pity”. According to statistics and research, the genocide of disabled people continued until 1945, and about at least 400,000 people with disability were killed only for one reason: Being disabled.
In the course of my research activities, I realized that the elimination of people with disability continues in modern ways in many parts of the world. The idea behind all these cruelties is one thing: “Eugenics”.
Hitler's project, “AKTIONT4”, is the most extensive systematic genocide of people with disability in history, which left a black mark on the face of humanity. The burden of the voices and faces of the innocent victims of this horrible project is so heavy that it is impossible to pick up a pen and write 1939.
after four years of research and publishing several related articles, I decided to build a monument in the biggest park in Tehran in honor of the names and memories of the victims of this horrible crime. I named this monument “Wall 193-”. I have decided to embark on a new path in which no person with a disability will feel alone in acquiring his/her lost rights and know that he/she is not alone in this path. I want all people with disabilities to know that: “My professional team- made up of committed doctors, lawyers, and other volunteers who are willing to protect the rights of the disabled- and I are devoted to defending their human rights and will make their voices heard by the world.”

REQUEST from UN : RECOGNITION of T4 Aktion as the SYSTEMATIC ""GENOCIDE""of the DISABLED.
Request to set a day in the United Nation’s calendar to honor the victims of this crime.
WALL 193_
After three years of research on AktionT4, the most extensive systematic genocide of the disabled in the history of humankind, Dr.Azadeh Abbaszadeh and her team decided to build a memorial in the most central part of the capital, located in the largest park in Tehran.
This memorial is named “Wall 193-” because the AktionT4 genocide that happened in 1939 is the most significant black mark against the disabled. Hitler eliminated at least 400,000 people with disability with the aim of Eugenics. This black mark is so harsh that with the voices and innocent faces of the victims of AktionT4 in mind, it is difficult to pick up a pen and write 1939. Maybe it is more convenient to write 193_ .
